Faith Lutheran Church has a rich musical tradition which began nearly 40 years ago with the installation of the church’s first Minister of Music and Education. Almost instantly, the music ministry at Faith developed into a first class ministry with choirs and ensembles of all types, which today includes a diverse range of musical groups that help the congregation lift it’s voice in praise to God.
Faith Choir
Faith Choir has been leading worship each Sunday since 1946. Composed of adults and high school students, Faith Choir leads the congregation in the singing of hymns, liturgies, and in offerings of anthems and solos related to the appointed texts for each Sunday. Thursday night rehearsals (7:30-9:30 PM) include the rehearsal of challenging music, both new and old, laughter, fellowship, and prayer.

Faith Alive! Band
Faith Alive! Band leads worshipers using modern worship music. The band includes vocalists and instrumentalists who play guitar, bass guitar, drums, and keys—but we’re not limited to those instruments. Faith Alive! leads songs that encourage the congregation to lift their hearts and voices to God. Band members range from high school to older—all of whom love to rock and roll and share their joy in the Lord Jesus.
Handbell Choir
Faith Handbell Choir is a multi-generational ensemble (third grade and above) that leads worship once each month from August through May (and in the annual Advent Lessons and Carols service) with easy to moderately difficult handbell music. The choir has three octaves of Schulmerich handbells and three octaves of Malmark handchimes, and we love getting together each Sunday from 1:30 to 2:30 PM for rehearsal and ice cream.

Chinese Worship Arts Team
The Chinese Worship Arts Team includes worship leaders, choir, and praise dance group. Worship leaders and instrumentalists sing and play music during the 9:30 AM Chinese Worship service. The choir rehearses on Sundays at 12:40 PM and assist with leading the 9:30 AM Chinese Worship service. The praise dance group leads worship through movement several times throughout the year and rehearses on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 11:00 AM.

Visser-Rowland Pipe Organ
Our sanctuary also houses a beautiful 1985 Visser-Rowland pipe organ. Based on the classic Werkprinzip concept developed during the 17th century in Lutheran churches of Northern Europe, the organ’s four divisions are both tonally and visually distinct. Visible pipes are of polished tin and copper, while interior pipes are made from lead-tin alloy, zinc, and wood. Oak, poplar, mahogany, cherry, birch and maple are woods selected for the casework and console. Faith is blessed to have this wonderful instrument for leading congregational liturgy and song for years to come!
