Baptism
Baptism is one of two sacraments for Lutherans, the other being Holy Communion. Baptism is the entry rite into Christian faith. It is an act instituted by God, performed using water in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, whereby the baptized is united with Christ, and welcomed into the community of faith. We baptize people of all ages, including infants. If you would like to arrange a meeting to discuss a baptism with our pastor, please contact the church office.
Weddings
A wedding is a sacred and joyous occasion. We celebrate your decision to get married. Pastor Marvin, Pastor Tan, and the Faith staff will be honored to help you prepare not only for your ceremony but for your life together. Click here for our Wedding Policy.
Funerals
We are very clear here at Faith that the purpose of the church is to be helpful in Jesus’ name. Pastor Marvin and Pastor Tan are available to walk with any family through the process of remembering and celebrating the life of a loved one. For pastoral care and to help in planning, the pastor should be notified immediately upon the death of a loved one. The Faith sanctuary is available for funeral and memorial services for anyone, whether or not they are members of the congregation. Many people find it both helpful and comforting to plan their funerals well in advance. Such planning offers an occasion to talk seriously about the Christian hope of resurrection and it allows a person the opportunity to bear witness to their own faith. If you would like to arrange a meeting to discuss funeral arrangements in advance please contact Pastor Marvin, Pastor Tan, or the church office to schedule a time.
