“Each of you has been blessed with God’s many wonderful gifts to be used in the service of others. So use your gift well.” – 1 Peter 4:10
Numerous members of Faith share their time and talents by serving on ministry teams, which are the “backbone” of the church. You can read a brief description of each team below. To join a team, send us an email and we will get you connected.
Day School
The Faith Day School Board oversees the activities of the Day School and Mother’s Day Out programs for Faith Lutheran Church.
Community Life Team
The ministry of the Community Life Team is to welcome all people to Faith Lutheran Church with a spirit of inclusion and warmth. The Team is primarily responsible for reaching out to the community, providing hospitality to guests and visitors of the church, and overseeing the maintenance of our building and property. They provide hospitality, breakfast, lunch, and coffee every Sunday and for all special meetings and events throughout the year.
Parish Education Team
This dedicated group of people plays a vital role in the spiritual growth of everyone in the church from tots to seniors! They share their time and talents as Learning Group teachers and administrators. Several of our teachers have been helping children learn about Jesus and his love for over 20 years. New leaders are sometimes hesitant to teach, but soon discover that they are pleasantly surprised at how much they learn themselves from sharing God’s word.
Social Ministries Team
The Social Ministries Team oversees the many service projects of Faith Lutheran Church including quarterly blood drives, the Souper Bowl of Caring, special requests in response to emergency needs, and the NAMI Walk. This Team also supports many of CCSC’s projects including the annual Back-to-School and Jingle Bell Express events, as well as the Azalea Dinner and the Emergency Services – Southwest Food Pantry.
Stewardship Team
The Stewardship Team encourages and promotes faithful and generous lifestyles within our membership. They also guide our congregation in being a blessing by supporting many other causes and organizations beyond Faith.
Worship Team
The Worship Team is responsible for organizing and implementing the worship calendar of the church, training and scheduling worship leaders, and overseeing physical enhancements to the décor of the sanctuary. It takes many volunteers to organize the various worship services throughout the church year.
Youth and Family Team
The Youth and Family Team helps direct and guide the multitude of programs offered for children, youth, and their families including Confirmation, Faith Camp and other camps, retreats and mission trips.
