In August 2015, Faith Lutheran Church addressed the issue of racism in the United States through a four-week message series entitled “Building Bridges.” You can listen to messages from that series on the Message Archive page. The bibliography below includes recommended reading from the series.
Liturgies used during the series included “A Litany for Those Who Aren’t Ready for Healing,” and “A Moment of Silence Honoring the Charleston Nine.”
The song, “They Met to Read the Bible” was sung during a commemoration of the Charleston Nine.
